Welcome to part 1 of a 5 part mini series on letting go.
Letting go can involve deep transformational work. That is not what we are going to do here.
The intention behind GRIT in Five is to be more like a daily multivitamin of goodness, small easy actions that really do make a difference.
The next five days are intended to be light and easy, not deep and heavy.
Letting go can be hard because our minds trick us into believing all sorts of weird and wonderful things, like “I won’t let this go because it’s unacceptable.”
Or maybe you even believe that letting go would mean having to like what happened. That is not it at all.
Letting go is realizing that you can’t change it. It happened and if you could change it you would but you can’t.
It is deciding that your peace of mind is more important than holding onto this and that you want to let go and move forward.
Come back tomorrow for more on letting go.
