Food for Thought

Today we look at your routine around sleep. Sleep affects so much more of your life than you may even begin to realize. Setting the stage for sleep increases the chances of having good quality sleep. This is about getting enough sleep as well as good quality sleep.

A good night’s sleep equals a better quality of life. More clarity, better decisions, less crankiness and more enjoyment. Now who wouldn’t want that?

Let’s take a little look at your current sleep routine and where you could do some tightening up. If this area is already going well, that is fantastic. You get to take a moment to be grateful for something that is really important.

    Today’s move: find a mirror where you can see your entire face. Connect with yourself by looking into your own eyes and holding that eye contact. Take three to five deep conscious breaths. Thank yourself for showing up consistently for fourteen days. Tell yourself three qualities you see within yourself that you appreciate, all while keeping that deep eye contact.

    Now go give yourself the eye contact you deserve. Tomorrow, we are going somewhere new.
